Admissions Online

We are honored by your interest in Saint James' Episcopal School (SJES). The following steps will guide you through the application process. Please do not hesitate to call us at 540-347-3855 with any questions.

For a candidate to be considered for admission to SJES, the following are required:

  1. Online application:  SJES uses an online application, which requires prospective families to create an account, complete an online application, and remit a $125 non-refundable application fee at time of application submission.
      
  2. Transcript Report (if applicable for preschool and required for new elementary students)
     
  3. Recommendations (if applicable for preschool and required for new elementary students):
    • Current teacher
    • Current school
       
  4. Student Meeting/Visit (for new elementary students only) - virtual meeting with an SJES Admissions team member or full day visit - transcripts and recommendations should be received by SJES prior to meeting/visit
     
  5. Parent Interview (for families of new elementary students only) - virtual or in person meeting - transcripts and recommendations should be received by SJES prior to interview.

The Admissions Office will send a decision email directly to families once all the above requirements have been met.

SJES offers limited tuition assistance to qualifying families.  If you would like more information, please contact the Business Office at business@saintjamesepiscopalschool.org.  You must apply to SJES first before applying for tuition assistance.
